LOW LATENCY FOR ISR AND SITUATIONAL AWARENESS
Makito X1 Rugged is an ultra-compact H.265/HEVC and H.264/AVC video encoder for low latency streaming of full-motion video (FMV) and KLV metadata. With dual encoding cores, the Makito X1 Rugged can encode video in H.264 and HEVC simultaneously, providing high quality streams suitable for all downstream systems.
By deploying the Makito X1 Rugged, high quality video can be streamed from all types of platforms over all types of links and networks even when bandwidth is limited.
Makito X1 Rugged is available as an ultra compact, rugged appliance for ISR platforms and wearable systems, or as an OEM board for integration with sensors, datalinks and mission computers.
The smallest, lightest and most power-efficient (under 5.5W) ruggedized HEVC/H.265 encoder on the market, the Makito X1 Rugged is ideal for air, ground, manned and unmanned applications.
COMPLIANT ENCODING WITH KLV METADATA
Capable of combining H.265/HEVC and H.264/AVC encoded video with synchronous or asynchronous KLV metadata, Makito X1 Rugged optimizes streaming bandwidth through highly efficient encoding options and selective filtering of metadata parameters. Adhering to MISB and STANAG specifications for video and metadata, Makito X1 Rugged streams provide the compliant imagery and metadata needed to meet mission requirements.
