It is an Unmanned Surface Vehicle of the catamaran type with tele-powered and/or autonomous modes. Equipped with a bathymetry multibeam echosounder and a LiDAR, CATA-Digues provides 3D modeling of the riverbed, riverbanks and partially or fully submerged infrastructure. Thanks to its small size, CATA-Digues is the ultimate research USV for inland waters and port areas.
By comparing data over time, the operator will be able to assess disturbances due to climatic, mechanical or anthropogenic factors.
