ARGOS-1 is Novasub's main standard definition camera. The camera can be supplied in different configurations. The camera signal output can be provided as balanced or unbalanced video signal output. A balanced video signal makes it possible to use a twisted pair cable for video transmission, while an unbalanced video signal requires a coaxial cable for video transmission. ARGOS 1 comes with a 80mm wide-angle lens with an 3,6° aperture underwater, ideal for getting close to an object in low-visibility water.
The video signal output is a standard video signal transmission over twisted pair using an internal video line driver, making it possible to run the video signal over 600 m of twisted pair cable. It can also be supplied with NSBC standard composite video output.
There is a recess on the back of the camera that can clamp the camera to a support using a jubilee clip.
