AspiROV robot is an ultra-portable robot with a total weight of 12 kg, specially designed for visual inspection and cleaning of fire fighting, industrial and drinking water tanks. It can be used in cleaning mode (swivel skid) and inspection mode (open water navigation). A ballast system allows the operator to adjust the robot buoyancy for obstacle clearance. A single operator is required and the sediment is pumped out of the tank using the suction hose and pump.
