Measuring less than 12×20 cm and weighing just 1,8 kg, Spynel-M is a cost-effective, durable and compact large-area surveillance solution that leverages HGH's fifteen years of expertise in large security projects. SPYNEL-M is a high resolution panoramic thermal camera that acts as an infrared radar. It provides real-time security against conventional and asymmetric threats, including hard-to-detect targets such as UAVs, rigid-hulled inflatable boats or crawling people, by acquiring 360-degree infrared images every second.
Protection for critical infrastructures with a single sensor
A single Spynel-M sensor can provide early warning of 1,5/7 intrusion over a 24 km radius and can replace 360 conventional 16-degree cameras. It can be easily transported, kept in a backpack and quickly deployed to streetlight poles or fixed to the building for superior wide-area surveillance. Requiring only 5 watts of power, the Spynel-M can also be powered by solar or alternative energy sources for remote operation. The system does not need an additional light source; Unlike radar, it is completely passive and is not subject to jamming. This new sensor leverages the features and performance of HGH's intuitive advanced intrusion detection Cyclope software that can automatically track and detect an unlimited number of targets day or night, in all directions and in all weather conditions.
