GENERAL INFORMATION

With the Cable Test and Measurement System, which is used in every place where the cable is located, especially in aviation, it also allows you to analyze the signal passing over the cable, with the possibility of detecting the number of faults such as short circuit / open circuit from only one end (without the need to remove the other end). It has been developed in cooperation with the R&D departments of more than 20 companies operating in various sectors such as Energy, Automotive and Railway, especially in the Defense and Aviation sectors.

In the defense sector, it is used both by organizations that manufacture and repair military platforms such as submarines, warships, helicopters, tanks, aircraft and UAVs (French Naval Group, Safrane Electronics, etc.) and by the maintenance and repair levels of the armed forces themselves.

In addition to Airbus, Boeing, Dassault Aviation, Gulfstream and other major airline companies (Lufthansa, Delta, United Airlines, Swiss Air, Emirates, etc.) in the aviation industry, it is used by both manufacturers and operation / maintenance repair stages of various helicopter and UAV platforms.

It is also used in the energy, automobile and railway sectors. For example, in the railway sector, there is a model that warns users by giving an alarm in case of cable cuts (including cable theft) by performing continuous real-time control of the line up to 14 km.

Multi Carrier Time Domain Reflectometer (MCTDR) technology is used, which combines the accuracy of the Frequency Domain Reflectometer (FDR) and the speed of the Time Domain Reflectometer (TDR), thus ensuring the highest level of monitoring and troubleshooting performance of the cable system.

  • Installation control of a currently faulty system/device is performed first,
  • For this, the cable going to the device is separated by the maintenance personnel and both ends are left free and a very laborious and time-consuming test such as a short-circuit check is carried out,
  • As a result of this test, even if there is no break in the cable, it cannot be checked whether the signal passing through it actually transmits in the expected decibel and characteristic.
  • In Win MS, only one end of the connector connected to the Cable/Installation is disconnected and the appropriate intermediate cables are connected to the bluetooth adapter,
  • The adapter in question enables the application of the desired test scenario with the commands from the tablet used by the maintenance personnel,
  • All cable types used in defense, aviation and industry and the tests to be applied for each cable type are also defined in the tablet,
  • All that needs to be done is to enter the cable type used in the system on the tablet (one time), by the user, and for subsequent tests, direct testing can be performed without the need for this process,
  • It is automatically ensured that the type of cable used in the system/device to be tested is selected by the maintenance personnel on the tablet, and then the test is started and the test is carried out along the cable line,
  • All test/measurement results can be memorized on the tablet and transferred to the maintenance computer/system, so that both the platform's fault history and the system/device's fault history information can be recorded,
  • In addition to these, it is possible to detect scratches and defective connectors on the cable that cannot be detected with a multimeter.
