These sensors are used with the following systems: V3w Wireless Desktop, MDT Mobile Tablet, Ultra Mobile Tablet and the new hybrid system. All of the sensors use the same basic sensing element, but the wireless sensors communicate with the main control unit via an RF transceiver interface. The sensors have two magnetic mounting positions so that vehicle sensors can be mounted on the side of the body for smaller vehicles or on the underside of the I-beam for heavy-duty vehicles. Floor sensors can be placed directly on the floor.
In addition to advanced battery management to preserve battery life, the sensors include an optional integrated health check system that can identify minor degradation long before failure. If the main system is used without a shelter and conditions are windy, the sensors can be used with an optional wind frame to ensure maximum accuracy.
