The V3w portable system is housed in a ruggedized and protective metal case suitable for harsh and challenging environments. The design meets military specifications, operating in a variety of environments ranging from high temperature to sub-zero temperatures and extreme humidity. The equipment can be charged via mains or battery power. The main control unit includes a touch-screen panel PC running the ClanTect software application. The V3w system uses proprietary advanced signal processing algorithms to produce highly accurate detection results.
The equipment is powered entirely by wireless sensors. These sensors are robust, have a long range of communication, are easy to use and have limited maintenance requirements. The standard configuration of the V3w system consists of a main control unit, a battery pack, two vehicle sensors and two environmental sensors. Additional options include a wind sensor and an ANPR camera for maximum accuracy in open environments.
